I have been really busy with school but I just finished reading The Cruel Prince and The Wicked King. I’m gonna write a post about those as soon as I possibly can.

So to begin with I started these books for my friend Arin because she absolutely loves them and I wanted to understand what she was talking about. Anyways, I really enjoyed this book I will definitely be reading the rest of them. I honestly didn’t know much about Greek mythology before this, but I instantly wanted to learn more after reading about gods such as Hephaestus (whos name I had to ask Arin how to pronounce for me probably 15 times), Athena, Poseidon, and Hades (my favorite honestly not gonna lie). I could probably talk about a million more things but i’ll keep it short. I would recommend this series to many people it’s honestly so good and I was kinda hesitant seeing as how it’s supposedly a kids book, but it tackles some topics I think teenagers and young adults could relate to. It really surprised me and i’m glad I decided to read it.
Favorite color and do you have a book in that color?
My favorite color is red, and yes I have two red Harry Potter books.
Describe yourself in 3 book characters
Blue Sargent from The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater (we both can be very opinionated), Baz Pitch from Carry On by Rainbow Rowell (We both tend to push people away), Alec Lightwood from The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare (We both can be sassy)
Hyped books yay or nay? If yay, what was the most hyped book you ever read? If nay, what was the most hyped book you decided not to read?
Yay. I read Queen of Air and Darkness when it came out and it had been hyped for months. Honestly though I didn’t find it as good as Lady Midnight and Lord of Shadows it was kind of a letdown, but I still enjoyed it.
Recommend one book per season. Spring. Summer. Fall. Winter.
Spring: I’ll give you the sun by Jandy Nelson
Summer: Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Fall: The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
Winter: All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
Name one book that wrecked you emotionally
All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven it’s an emotional roller coaster and I cried in the middle of my high school English class. Tip: DON’T READ IN PUBLIC I’VE MADE THIS MISTAKE
Name a book that you always recommend to everybody you know
Carry On. Always no matter when or where if you ask me for a book to read it will be Carry On
What is your guilty pleasure book?
Vampire academy, but I think after reading The Lighting Thief it might change.
Physical book or ebook?
Always a physical book.
Can you read while listening to music or watching tv?
Yes, in fact I turn the tv on for background noise when I read a lot of the time.
Are you a procrastinator? What book have you procrastinated reading?
I am to an extent. I’ve gotten much better and I think the Percy Jackson series was the only one I was really procrastinating, but I just started it.
